LOVE, INC needs your assistance! |
Contact Leah at 616-846-2701 if you can help.
Furniture Ministry: Beds (frames especially), couches, small kitchen tables and chairs. We have a waiting list for those items. Please keep in mind that if it’s really large, most likely clients don’t have space for it! If it needs fixing, again, clients may or may not be able to afford the tools, materials to fix it!
Appliance Ministry: In need of good, working - gas or electric stoves, washers, gas or electric dryers and refrigerators. Please remember - if it doesn’t work, clients can’t use it.
Volunteers: Drivers are needed to transport clients to and from appointments. Set your own schedule. Mileage reimbursement is possible. We need women who are willing to drive to Grand Rapids and men who are able to drive on Tuesdays as we are struggling to provide transportation to medical appointments.
Love INC Counselors: Compassionate people, with good listening skills to meet with, assess and refer clients to appropriate ministries, to fill out paperwork, and to work one on one with clients.

Food Pantry News |
Times are tough for many in our community. Currently, Love INC’s food pantry helps feed over 2000 people every month - twice as many as just two years ago. A great way to share God’s love is by donating non-perishable items to Love INC’s food pantry thru Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship. A shopping cart is available for you in the Atrium in which to place your donations. Suggested items include cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, Helper box mixes, baking products and personal hygiene needs. Share out of your abundance and be blessed in the process. Matthew 25:40 reads, “The King (Jesus) will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'“ |

Moms In Touch |
Moms in Touch International is two or more moms who meet for one hour each week to pray for their children, their schools, teachers and administrators. We want to give mothers, grandmothers, or anyone who is willing to pray for a specific chid and school the opportunity to do so. For more information about MITI or area groups, call Margie Fett at 616-847-8943 or Lori Veurink at 616-846-6637. |
